This weekdn so busy..
work friday-sunday and library and revise and essay..lol
Today was damn crowded, n somehow Mil forgot to put 2 ppl in box off, so only me alone did the box today...got queque soo long! lucky Mil came n help out, otherwise will just die of sheer exhaustion hoho..

Btw, dad called..told me Brino was sick. so sad.. wish i can still see him again.. he's been wit me practically more than half of my life ! got him when i was 9 yrs old i think..
that's the sad thing of having a pet.. u love them so much, but got so sad when they got sick.. :(

Thankful?

Interesting lectures today frm Armand Leroi, abt limb formation.
Just crossed my mind that we're really lucky to be born healthy (as in wit complete limbs etc)..bcos so many many things can go wrong & it's all one hell of a complicated process.

Oh and also talked a lot wit Juan & Amber yesterday, made me realise other things, we're lucky (put it, unbelieveably lucky) to b able to study in uni. esp.imperial & in london. which is like, one of the best science university in UK. Haven't write in a while..
since last week got so busy, Silvia & Diana were here (staying at my place) for a a week :)
Felt a bit bad can't accompny them everyday, btu we went out this one day..lunch wit all the girls * dinner wit all the guys, damn fun! Darius was hilarious,c an't stop laughing for one whole nite !!
Then we went for lots of nice meals..jap,chinese,ice creams, etc.

Yesterday I worked from 6.30-2 am in the morning! thx God Andrew helped me with the closing, otherwise i think i will be just dead seriously. It was fun tho, since everyone was so friendly :) but it really was tiring, imagine standing up for 8 hrs straight, no break, since it was hectic & busy yesterday.

Oh & I read finished 'Tuesday's with Morrie", that book is AMAZING. a must read for everyone!!

Been reading Mitch Albom's "Tuesday's with Morrie" these few days..
very meaningful book !
makes me think abt lots of things.
Morrie said to Mitch : "Every single day, when you wake up..asks yourself : 'Is today the day? , Am I doing all I need to be doing ? Am I being the person I want to be?'

Feeling of fullfillment (?)

Really2x..truly..physically exhausted today!!
went to Westway Stable in the morning..muck out 6 stables from 9-2 pm (5 hrs straight, wit like, 5 min break to get a drink and ate my apple).
Groomed some..talked2x to a guy (dunno who his name is, but his daughter was there for the pony day)..get to know Rheana & Dan. Sarah came by in lunchtime.
Rode Sparky in the afternoon, he got spooked by a plastic bag in the arena, but he was by far the most comfy pony I tried there ! so smooth (eg : smooth stride).
So exhausted when i went back (arrive home at 7pm ish, bloody bus 391 was late again). but feeling rested and happy. I think i really do have a physical craving to be near horses to calm me down :)!*

Anyway, been thinking a bit.. it just suddenly occured to me on the bus on the way home today... it's just, what i've always been good at ? i sort of asked myself this question..then i realised, what i've ALWAYS been good at is organising things & be a leader (don't mean to sound like a show off, but i know i AM good in organising things). Ever since I was in primary school, i always been elected as head class, head prefect, head of student body etc.. and i always loved it so much! i love being in an organisation, i love working with ppl & especially leading ppl (not in a bossy sort of way), but i do know I have a decent enough leadership abilities. Ok so what makes me think abt this all of a sudden?
Its just...I do like biology, but somehow, i got this feeling that this is not what I shd be doing. I like it, but i'm not exceptionally good at it. And frankly, with a bio degree..its pretty tough to find a good job really. So i've been thinking..maybe..I had chosen a wrong course? there is a probablity that the reason I feel like this maybe bcos lately i've been revising non stop, and I sort of meet a dead end in the cell bio part.. i really do feel like, dunno..
But, yeah, I do realise one thing, i'm good at organising things, so why don't I take a course or do a degree in that part?

Another thing, if I just want to do a degree in subject that I'm good at, I do know I will have to take equine science, i know i'm good at horsemanship. Everything abt horses and horse riding just came so naturally to me, it's always been easy for me to understand different personalities of horses and figure out their likes and dislikes, how exactly do they like to be ridden, which horses need reassurances and which ones doesn't like you to order him around. I just knew. This is also due to the training i got frm the best ever trainer, James, he and I just clicks. I really2x miss those times when I used to have riding lessons frm him. It felt just like, me, him, and the horse, in our own little world. Where everything just seems to fade away. Really miss those times...will never ever happened aagin sadly, bcos even tho now my horses (chief n kim) are still trained by him..but now he's too busy & he got too many riders and horses to trained all at once.
Anyway, ok gtg now..

Back in London now!
Had a greaattt time in edinburgh :)
the pics above are of me & pang, super sunny after like snow/hail storm 10 min before (yeap, we're soo 'lucky' to get the lovely wind/snow/hail storm !)..and the other one was in front of the castle (while waiting for my dad to choose which whisky to buy).

Wish could stay longer there! and yep i will surely come again ( and krispy kremes!) to visit and disturb pang again..so nice to talk n spend time wit her, really felt like all those sweet old times in concord :)

Today went to IC, swim & library..did some catch up wit revision (since ..i've been salcking this whole week haha). Then met up wit mom n dad for lunch at Four Season (yummyyy)..met Fofo, SY, YS, alice, ian (ex-concordian) there as well. Met up wit Mita at the hotel as well...(hmm good idea to go to Brighton and visit her someday!).

Anyway, yep yesterday gw msg dia gt nanya knp kt putus n gw jg bilang kl slama ini gw ms care ma dia lbh dr temen (trus yg ada tadi gw bener2x takut/deg2an gt mo baca reply dari dia..bego abis). Trus akhirnya gw baca jg tu reply dr dia, n dia blg kl itu bener emang mslh jarak n satu lagi, kt ber2 ga pinter komunikasi..iya sih stlh gw pikir2x emang komunikasi kt bener2x ga jalan abis. Satu lagi, kt ber2 pgn ngrasain yg nmnya jadian tp bkn ld gt. Yep bener jg krn so far kt ber2 blm perna yg nmnya jadian yg bkn ld gt..en iya bgt gw jg g mau ld lagi kl dsuruh ato dminta skrg juga gw ga mau. Lalu dia jg blg, emang ada org ld yg sukses gt tp makan biaya gede, kl utk itu gw g gt stuju..krn sbenernya kl itu juga bisa diusahain kl emang mau n niat.iya ga sih, kya gw aja beli kartu tlpn dsini emang nya murah..tp bisa lah kalo itu, trus kan ada msn n email jg gt skrg. Tapi y uda lah toh smua itu skrg jg uda lewat. I'm in Edinburgh!!

arrived yesterday by train..mom n dad stayed at their hotel, Ramada. I stay at Pang's place. Rain so hard when we came..went back to Pang's place after stopping by at Shuhei's place to get the sleeping bag. Cooked jap burger for dinner, looked damn pretty wit all d salad n french bread hehe..
Shu, Alex, Tetsuro came for dinner. Talked2x..shd go to Brighton someday !
Watched Brokeback at nite! disturbing images at 1st, but they looked sweet in the end, jake gyllenhall is so cute ! "I wish I knew how to quit you" (Jack Twist, Brokeback Mountain)
Krispy Kremes for breakfast..went to castle. Exp 4 season in 1 day! rain-sun-snow storm-sunny again..damn. Ate super nice lunch at this cafe at the castle, seafood rissoto...cafe at Elepahant Cafe (where JK rowling wrote HP!!)..went back order pizza. dye pang's hair purple!

Westway stable !! yipee..
ok..I found an advert in Imp Volunteer Centre : a stable hand is needed in Westway Stable, near Latimer Road tube stn, Hammersmith..got very very excited, immediately contactted IVC and asked for Westway's contact details..got the details, called Sarah Tuvey (the owner), she said ok just come anytime..

Went there on Thursday, got a bit lost on the way..turns out it is situated in Westway Sports Centre!!!
underneath the flyover! still amazes me how the hell the horses get used to the noise, mine will go absolutely bonkers there. :)
Met Sarah, v.friendly, showed me ard & introduce all the horses to me :). Met Jane (othe volunteer), Robert (Poland guy, he lives there), Tamara (16 yr old, German?, works there).
Stay there and help mucking out (=cleaning the stables, changing straws, bedding, threw away the soiled & wet bedding etc), groomed the horses, went back home absolutely exhausted! but happy!!
p.s : took 1 hr by bus 295 frm Orient, or 30 min by tube.

Went there again yesterday morning..frm 9-3 pm :) help muck out, groom , clean etc.. (what a workout! basically, my body ached all over, from shoveling all the straws etc..been awhile since i used to do that back in Heather's place in Shrewsbury).
Rode Bonnie! she was FUN! either she went extremely FAST or very SLOW... Sue also rode Rosie (other volunteer).
Oh and the dogs there are extremely hyper active but friendly !! :) hehe..
plus I denoted Paddy as my fave horse now :) and Sparky ..and Tinkie
Spice is so cute, tri-coloureed, but she IS a mare really..all cranky sometime.

Also been to library everytime after I came back from the stable..really help me to concentrate more (after working with the horses) :) !!

Tsotsi

Yesterday went to watch Tsotsi w. Mand & Ti.
Unusual movie..was really good :)
Makes me think, that we're so lucky to have a chance to study here..in UK..have a good life back home..compared to those ppl in Africa. Watching d movie reminds me so much of home, where poor ppl are really poor, and the riches are increduously rich.
Its very,very similar..
somehow the movie makes you symphatize w d bad guy,
he is not a bad guy by nature, its just that he has no other choice.

Anyway, will go back to my revision now..been in library since 4 hrs ago, but i rather enjoyed reading abt animal behaviours :p!

Quiet(ness)

Last dAy oF scHoOL !!
went to Newham city farm w. ninghan & yihlin..all e way in xone 3.. took DLR ('free')..to royal albert, walk2x..found e farm, donkey (30yr old!),koookie, cats,geese,horsie,pony,etc. Small farm, but pretty tidy..looked around & wait for d manager (sussana?) to come..got forms etc.

Went to Canary Wharf on d way back, took pics, went to bridge, books etc, read2x...damn hungry, went to eat at Nandos!! v.fulfilling meal!! had such a good time, just talking2x, fill up the bottomless soda! (like, 10 times i think), ate chickn & corn & chips...damn full :)
went back, pretty tired hehe

Then at nite, movie marathOn w. ninghan, matthew, charlotte ! watch hitch & lotr 3, hitch damn funny, lotr got lots of extended scene,so cool :)
slept ard 5.30ish..woke up at 11.15ish..
hmm...happy!

Jumps!

Finish the inter-club show jumping today..!
yayy..my 1st effort to organise a compt, n it went well!

When we get there, wit 6 of us building d course & dragging the poles ard etc..only took abt 10 min to set up d whole thing...wait around..ask kerry, judging..talk2x to wieland n jess (found out sm intersting news abt k & s haha)..
then novices went 1st..over poles...rush around helping ppl...got Yogi for jumping, tacked him up (he was still half asleep in his stable, sorry yogi...)

Jumped Yogi.. he had such a gd rhytm! no need to adjust d speed, he'll help me for that..but sumtime he was late in picking up his front feet, otherwise, he's v.honest! (remind me of Bobby, miss him! he was one of those horses who will always, always try his hardest for u)..
Wieland fell but he was ok, Jess rode Jock (omg he looked SO CUTE!)..
went to pub n had sm dirnks & talk2x with wieland,jess..
went back, bloody chelsea game again = delayed bus!!

Happy..hungry...but, easter holiday is COMING!! haha..

This few days, somehow I kept thinking abt him...and I realised I missed him. Yep, its that simple, I miss him. So yesterday decided to send him a mssg asking how has he been doing lately.
He replied, said that he went to took his advance diving certificate this weeknd (lucky him!!) & they went for a dive to this ship-wreck from 1980's & they went for a night-dive as well (makes me really can't wait to go to Egypt!!! hehehe)
Anyway, yeah ok i know i didn't think abt him much during the day ..busy:. me as usual...but at nite can't seem to get him out of my mind. Still, no I don't regret breaking up, but just that i miss him lately

Ice cream weekend ! *

Finally !
Had a good,proper weekend this week :)
Friday : went to dinner with all the indo nite commitee ppl at Bali-Bali..plus vandy & cassie as well.nice dinner (free food hehe). Then went to ciao bar for huge ice-creams afterwards. Got a good laugh & chat etc. Plus my camera took a plunge into Eko's ferrero-rocher ice cream It was hilarious! Took loads of pic ! (eg : the pic above! Jose-Christy-me-Eko,,,blisfully entranced in ice-cream heaven :)

Saturday : Kote's bday party dinner at Hank's place in Canary Wharf ! everyone there except Jose-Achmad-Jon-Boy. Ate,drink,gossiping, talk2x. Actually talked quite a lot with Lita, n found out abt her doll-collection passion. The dolls are so very very pretty! seriously, was imagining they would b scary looking dolls (eg: Bride of Chucky), but no, her dolls are so lovely !!
Went back so late, so sleepover at Manda's as usual :)
oh and we dressed kote as a girl!

Sunday : woke up 1/2 alive at 9.30, drag myself back home to take a shower etc. Everyone still dead asleep when I left. Had a really nice yummy sukiyaki don at Sakura with Daryll :)
Then met up with Artati in Picadilly, ate ice cream again in Ciao Bar (order 2 very yummy, choc & berry ice cream!) .
Talked a lot with Daryll, it was really nice meeting up with her again after so long. She's still exactly the same as the last time i saw her. N was happy to hear that she's loving it in Belfast so much. Tried to recall abt wht happened with us back then, but it was so silly lar, we just couldn't actually remember what caused it all that time!
Swap lab stories, n talked abt all d new ppl we met, reminsicing concord 6.1 times.. those times wit our chem class plot, coti/frog with me, late-nite horror movies,rambling/mysterious guy when we walked out that time (creepy!), measuring grass, field trip, set 5, as english analysis thingy, talking thr our walls etc etc it seriously was damn good talking with her again.

Went back to artati's place , Satrio was there as well : she dyed & cut my hair! brown ish, looking good baby !

A good weekend! so long since I had a proper weeknd, the last time was when me & ninghan went to richmond parK!

A rather quiet weekend

Hmm
This weekend is a rather quiet one.
The pics abova are pics from Richmond Park !!! last sunday, me n ninghan cycled there. Me on Michael's bike, Ninghan on Daryl's. Somehow we end up in Wimbledon common, had lunch n tea at the windmill cafe (yeap a windmill), and wondering how on earth there are no signs of Richmond park. On our way back home, somehow we stumbled upon one of the real Richmond park entrance and we went 'aha!'.
Well, all in all last week was undoubtedly a very very nice.adventurous.fun.healthy Sunday ! :)

This week did nothing much, been spending the whole weekend reading up on books abt human sexual behaviour.my essay : Should Men be Unfaithful ?. somehow yet I really am enjoying myself doing research for this topic. Unlike the usual, dreadful times I tried to read on books abt topic that I did not enjoy :)
so goodie..hehe

Yesterday I chat on msn with him, somehow, I was really enjoying his company that time (chatting). I actually thought abt him quite a lot these few days, to b honest, i missed him. Yeap, I do. but no, I don't want to get back together w him, and we both know it just won't work for now. Considering both of us were like, busy all the time. Will be unfair to both of us even if we tried to make it work.
Anyway, yeah i admit i do miss him.

Ok, here goes..so these few days we've ALL been practicing and did rehearsals like there's no tomorrow. I mean, seriously..how on earth did we manage to rehearse for 8 hrs straight last Sunday, only Gos knows why. Then yesterday till 12..with everyone tired and in a bad mood, our last rehearsal is..acceptable..maybe everyone were just so nervous yesterday though.

TODAY!
went to LSE at 3..set up the quad (removing tables etc) after spending a very productive one-hour playing capsa with d guys)..did posters etc with Amy (LSE,frm Brunei, but she cud undertsd indo :) !)..
then Manda etc came..
guests start to come..at 6ish...Baim,Dadit,Ozzy etc were all there, vandy,darius, achmad,yoshio,michael,anca,puisan :)

Serving foods n drinks..ow ya did i mention dat eko did a very good job cutting the sellotapes with his teeth (yeap sadly since we dun hv any scissors!haha)..stick all the paper tablecloth :)
Food from Mawar restaurant (the owner is ang mo! but cud speak indo well)..
loads of ang mo tho..amazingly..
Serve food-drinks etc.ow and the ambassador came!
his daughter, annisa got the lead role as inem.

Kerry is hilariously funny in every scene he was in, Eko was such a natural, n Annisa is just the perfect inem!!
I was in the few scenes..as girl passing by Jude law in tube..dancing caca marica with jose,kerry,phil,amy..and FASHION SHOW! pairs up with Rahul..manda etc were all in fashion show (it reminds me SO much of our last mayor's concert!! even the song is exactly the same!!) and we all did little dances and poses, and it worked amazingly well considering the amount of practice we had (twice!).

Oh have i mention above dat we got sound trouble at the beginning? basically, mike works, but speaker! we were all freaked out but then me n phil managed to get (borrow) 2 speakers frm this guy,nick, at LSE SU..then put microphone in front of the mike, it worked!!! :)

Oh another thing, Irma's voice was kinda lost tonite, but she managed to sing!!! very proud of her tonite, brilliant performances though!!! manda & ange guitar, artati base..
damn nice..
anyway..gtg sleep now. GLad dat its over, was fun tho! get to know loads of new friends!! hehe..

Missed 2 whole days of school on Wed & Thurs (22nd & 23rd of Feb) since we got BUSA A team competitions..
Wed, 22nd : in Lee Valley Riding Centre (UCL as host)..Rode Bailey (big,BIG, dark bay mare..lovely stride & canter..kinda TOO fwd going in trot) did a very acceptable test, even tho its not v.incredible in particular, but passable test I think. Sadly, the judge was rather an unpleasant man I guess..very harsh markings! 5-5-5-4-4-4..but with nice comments, "nice rhytm.." etc..very VERY weird way of marking. Freeze our butt off while waiting for the show jumping..lunch & walk the course while carrying a plat of choc chip cookies & drank hot chocs while dunking cookies :)
Jess did a nice test on white-grayish mare..Lucy as well..and Kat as well..we all did ok tests..
Start the jumping : 3 paint horses, 1 light chesnut. Nice easy course, small tiny fences.. well..the same girl who fell off in Snowball, fell of AGAIN! from UCL..dunno her name, but this time it was a BAD fall..the horse, Baron, just didn't pick up at all at the 3rd fence in the treble..ambulance came..tokk her to hospital (Jess being medics come very very handy in times like this)...and what the Brunel girls said : "What are we gonna do abt the individual placing?" helooo we got an injured girl here!!! can't believe them!!!!!! and they were already WINNING that time.. puh-leeaseee...
decided to cancel the jumping altogether that day.

On Thursday 23rd Feb : Last competition at Trent Park (our place !!)..dressage horses : Phoebe,Jock,Coco,Avignon..warm Jock up (could NOT get him to canter left!)..rode Avignon in the test, ok test, can do better though...this girl from (Brunel!) damn..rode a nice test on Avvy, got 151 score! damn..

Jumpers : Black Jack, Trio, Ginger, Joe..BJ just went fantastic! i think he knows he's in a competition, he just zoomed around the course! I hardly have to do anything but sit tight and steer...seriously. Trio did not threw anyone off & he went very well (bless him! like Jess said)..Joe was lovely and Ginger as well.. NOBODY FELL OFF IN OUR JUMPING!!! WO HOOO !! great improvement, considering : at Snowball : 1 air ambulance + 1 ambulance... at Lee Valley : 1 ambulance..
At the end of the day, Brunel team won..UCL 2nd..IC (us!!)3rd..haha surprise2x.. but it's ok..
Went to the pub for drinks, took tube back home..completely exhausted.

Anyway, today (Friday) went to Manda's house after school...ate dinner there (ari cooked) , Pat came..talked n watched friends a bit..did some work.. It feels really nice, I did not realise how actually I missed being around ppl.
I guess I just discovered that I'm actually more of an introvert person rather than an extrovert person..really.. :)
but yeah it was nice tonight, its been quite a while since I had the time to came and just relaxed at Manda's place..hers was one of the places I can just go anytime and feels like I'm at home :)
