Mid-week

Just had a long long chat with Tephi..looks like i can't go n visit her in LA during easter , too bad. but anyway, i realised something that in certain principal, we agreed in completely opposite things. I never really realised it until just now, even though i've known her for a long time. It's funny how sometimes, even old friends can still surprise you. You thought you knew someone really well, but then it turns out that there are still different sides of them that you have not yet met. I think i read somewhere that you can only know 10 % of a person's personality, even your very closest friend. I think it might be true. Humans are very complicated. Even i think i'm slightly different when i'm here and when i'm back home. Not drastically different, but just not the same. At home, with people who already knows you since forever, they already have a set of perception how you should be..In here, it's more liberating, it's quite refreshing though.

Today was quite good, our internet (proper one, no more stealing wireless connection frm our neighbour lol) is up and running! yays..but the bad thing is that its still a bit screwed up. Got disconnected so many times! damn.
Yesterday had dinner with manda, ajeng, and her sisters.. Its been ages since i saw her! last time was when I left TarQ in 2003 for concord. Been feeling quite nostalgic these few days. Was really considering to go back to Shrewsbury this weekend, but decided not to due to work & lab reports.
I was browsing thr concord's website yesterday, and it makes me miss that place even more so.
Missed the morning wake up call and morning registration
Missed the chocolate croissants during breakfast
Missed prep/saturday tests in sports hall
Missed the dining hall and our table
Missed cycling to Heather's place and her horses
Missed post office/numerous trips to town on saturdays/midnite bday surprises
Missed the rooms with super thin walls where u can actually talk to artati thro the walls
Missed the smell of fresh grass, field full of yellow flowers, and chilly morning frost
and all of the people

anyway, posted a few pics of concord in summer/winter/field full of yellow flowers in front of main hall/our lovely house, Highfield =)
